Anti Spam Policy
At Buildigo, we believe communication should be intentional, relevant, and respectful of the person receiving it. This policy outlines how we manage outreach across all channels, how we obtain and record consent, and what you can do if you feel our communication has been unwanted or inappropriate.
Our Commitment
We do not send unsolicited bulk messages. We do not engage in communication practices that are misleading, excessive, or irrelevant. Every message we send is connected to a legitimate business purpose and directed at someone who has a reason to hear from us.
This is not just a policy we follow to stay compliant. It reflects how we think communication should work in a professional context.
Legal Framework
Our communication practices are guided by applicable Indian laws and regulations, including the Information Technology Act, 2000 and related rules, the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) regulations on unsolicited commercial communications, the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, and general principles of consent and data protection that apply to business communication in India.
We stay informed of changes to these regulations and update our practices accordingly.
Who We Communicate With
We communicate only with individuals or organisations who have reached out to us directly, are actively engaged in discussions, evaluations, or ongoing projects with us, have an existing business relationship with us, or have explicitly consented to receiving communication from us.
We do not purchase contact lists. We do not scrape contact information from directories or online sources. We do not add people to any communication list without a clear and legitimate basis for doing so.
Consent and How We Record It
Before initiating non essential communication with any individual or organisation, we ensure that consent has been obtained. This consent is recorded internally and linked to the contact in question.
Consent may be obtained through a form submission on our website, a direct request or enquiry made to our team, a mutual agreement at the start of a business engagement, or a verbal or written confirmation during an interaction.
We do not assume consent. If there is uncertainty about whether someone has consented to receiving a particular type of communication, we do not send it.
Channels We Use
We currently communicate through email, WhatsApp Business, SMS, and phone calls. Each channel is used with a specific purpose in mind.
Email is used for formal communication, proposals, comparisons, updates, and documentation related to procurement and project coordination.
WhatsApp Business is used for direct project coordination, quick updates, and follow ups with contacts who are actively engaged with us. We do not use WhatsApp for bulk promotional messaging.
SMS is used sparingly, primarily for time sensitive updates or confirmations directly related to an ongoing interaction.
Phone calls are made to contacts with whom we have an established relationship or who have requested a call. We do not engage in cold calling at scale.
Where we use third party tools or platforms to manage any of these channels, we ensure those platforms comply with applicable regulations and maintain standards consistent with this policy.
What We Do Not Do
We do not send bulk promotional messages to people who have not expressed interest in our services. We do not use misleading subject lines, deceptive sender names, or false pretences in any communication. We do not send repeated follow ups to someone who has not responded or has indicated they are not interested. We do not share contact information with third parties for the purpose of marketing or outreach on our behalf without explicit consent. We do not engage any communication partner or platform that operates outside applicable regulatory guidelines.
Frequency and Relevance
We are mindful of how often we communicate and what we communicate. Our messages are connected to something specific, a project update, a pricing comparison, a coordination requirement, or a response to something you have shared with us.
We do not send newsletters, promotional campaigns, or regular broadcast messages unless someone has specifically opted in to receive them.
Internal Accountability
This policy applies to everyone at Buildigo, including full time employees, part time staff, consultants, and any external partners acting on our behalf.
Any communication sent on behalf of Buildigo must be consistent with this policy. Internal violations are taken seriously and addressed through our standard accountability processes.
Third Party Communication Partners
Where we work with third party platforms or service providers to manage any aspect of our communication, we ensure those partners operate within applicable legal and regulatory requirements. We do not authorise any third party to send communication on our behalf that we ourselves would not send.
Policy Updates
We may update this policy as our communication practices evolve, our tools change, or regulatory requirements are revised. Any significant updates will be reflected on our website. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
Opting Out
You have the right to opt out of any non essential communication from us at any time, and we will respect that without question.
If you would like to stop receiving certain types of messages, reduce the frequency of communication, or be removed from any outreach entirely, please contact us at business@buildigo.in with your preference clearly stated.
We will process all opt out requests within 5 business days. Once processed, we will not initiate further non essential communication with you unless you reach out to us again.
For SMS, you may also follow standard TRAI opt out procedures by registering your preference on the National Do Not Disturb registry at nddcp.trai.gov.in.
Reporting a Violation
If you believe you have received communication from Buildigo that was unsolicited, misleading, excessive, or in violation of this policy, we want to know about it.
Please write to us at business@buildigo.in with details of the communication you received. We will review the matter seriously, investigate internally, and respond to you within a reasonable timeframe.
If the communication originated from someone misrepresenting themselves as Buildigo, please let us know so we can take appropriate action.
